GABWA, an organization of more than 800 women and men dedicated to increasing black female
representation in the judiciary and in public offices, has formally endorsed Cesar Mitchell for
Mayor of Atlanta.

Ambassador Andrew Young and Dr. C.T. Vivian formally endorsed Ceasar Mitchell for Mayor of Atlanta during a press conference this week. The legendary civil rights activists shared why Mitchell has earned their support and stands out as the only candidate with a record of leadership, experience and vision to lead “a city too busy to hate.”
The United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) has formally endorsed Ceasar Mitchell for Mayor of Atlanta. UFCW Local 1996 is the largest private-sector union in the southeastern United States, representing over 19,000 members in Georgia, South Carolina, Florida and Alabama.
This endorsement comes just weeks after the RWDSU hosted its very first Mayoral Forum in the city, where members and community leaders heard from candidates on the issues that matter most to Atlanta voters.
